New Book Club Materials!

Our latest book club read The Monk of Mokha, by Dave Eggers.

This book tells the true story of Mokhtar Alkhanshali, a Yemeni American who becomes obsessed with coffee’s roots and sets out to bring high-quality Yemeni coffee to the world. His journey takes him from San Francisco cafés to Yemen just as civil war erupts, turning his entrepreneurial dream into a dramatic race for survival. Along the way, the book explores identity, immigration, cultural heritage, and the power of one person’s perseverance.
